چکیده
Renal damage secondary to paracetamol intoxication is rare, estimated between 1% and 2% of cases. Its pathophysiology still debated, the clinical involvement consisting in an acute tubular necrosis with a good prognosis if it rapidly treated. can sometimes occur without prior hepatic damage, onset renal manifestations generally 2nd 7th day after taking paracetamol. If its management remains exclusively symptomatic, late lead serious metabolic complications. It therefore important systematically monitor function following drug intoxication. We report case 60-year-old male subject hospitalized for voluntary (VDI) complicated by hepatocellular failure failure. His required extrarenal purification (hemodialysis) evolution was favorable recovery ad integrumof function. Conclusion: Although less known unelucidated physiopathology, nephrotoxicity reality extreme cases use technique (hemodialysis).
